Plutus - God of Wealth

WHY pay 15 Euros for a haircut when Denali could do it? Thats the question Ben asked himself. Thus, I spent a good part of last night watching eHow videos on men's haircuts and a good part of this morning slowly clipping away at what shortly became a huge mess on my floor... and my shirt... and Ben's shirt... and my computer... and anything else remotely close by. BUT, to great success. I am officially a good hairdresser. (But i really should start taking tips...)So after that fiasco, we bopped on down to the bus
stop to begin a new adventure to a new town si chiama Caprarola. Being his extremely organized self, Ben had plan A and plan B all worked out on paper and somehow we still ended up at the stop that the bus did not stop at. It drove right by and we kinda stood there for a few seconds (stunned?) before sprinting after it. We made it and that bus drove us to the next stop which we were not sure whether or not was the right one so, we kept walking, were passed by the bus again, and had to walk down to Caprarola. It was a beautiful day, so no worries there. Ben sang songs from Wicked and we saw some sheep.
By the time we arrived, it was wayy past lunch time and we were both starving. We found, by complete luck, a cute little ristorante tucked away and completely Italian. We had pasta con pesto e pomodoro e pasta con parpadelle al cinghiali. Anche, insalata e patate.
Era buonissima! While we waited for the check we argued over the correct pronunciation of the word "contemplative"(which stresses the "e" not the "o"). After lunch we went up to the Palezzo di Pope Paul III bought some 2 Euro tickets and waited (half asleep after lunch) for entrance. Litterally, I could have spent hours in even just one room.
All the colorful frescos and golden/white reliefs were so intricate and everywhere. A rather impatient woman was guiding us through, however, and kept shushing us along with "Ragazzi!" Que fastidioso! As we were not allowed to take pictures inside, I would strongly recommend either going, or Google-image-ing/go-to-the-library-and-get-book-ing it. Bellissimo. After the Palace, coffee and troppo foto di Ben. Waiting for the bus, we had our own little silent dance party with Ben's iPod and then almost missed it again. Che disastro.
